Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule Sule has approved the re-opening of all public and Private Tertiary institutions in the state from Monday,October 26th,2020.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education Science and Technology, Usman Abu.

He stressed the need for all returning Students to undergo temperature check and all other COVID19 protocols before being allowed into the school premises.

The statement partly reads” the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State has approved the re-opening of all Tertiary institutions in the state (including both State- owned and private) with effect from Monday, 26th October, 2020.

“In this regard, the ministry of Education Science and Technology, wishes to stress that the authorities of the institutions should ensure maximum compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols within their respective campuses.

” For the avoidance of doubt, officials from the Ministry of Education Science and Technology will embark on monitoring visits to ensure adhrance by the institutions.

“In the light of this development,institutions are hereby advised to commence academic activities without delay in view of lost time, please.”
