Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Tuesday has received his booster dose of the AstraZeneca Covid 19 vaccine.
While addressing newsmen after receiving the vaccine the governor urged the people of Adamawa to ensure that they take the vaccine to be protected from getting infected by the deadly virus.
Noting the significance of the booster dose, the governor said it is pertinent to get the booster dose considering the new variants which have forced some countries to impose lockdown in major cities.
The primary healthcare personnel will carry out the mass vaccination with the target of 200, 000.00 people before the end of January 2022.
The Governor was accompanied by his Deputy Chief Crowther Seth, Speaker Adamawa state Assembly Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, Chief of staff government house Professor Maxwell Gidado, Head of Service Dr Edgar Amos among others.
