Oyo State Government have discharged another 49 COVID-19 Patients who have been successfully managed and have received their second negative test results.
The State Governor and Chairman Oyo State COVID-19 Taskforce,Seyi Makinde in a tweet on Friday said a total of 1,257 have been discharged from the state Isolation Centers so far.
While giving the update on the Coronavirus,in the state the governor announced that additional twenty five suspected cases have been confirmed in 12 local government as all the tests came out positive.
The cases according to Governor Makinde are from ; Ido (5), Akinyele (3), Ibadan North West (3), Lagelu (3), Ibadan North (2), Ibadan South West (2), Ona Ara (2), Ibadan North East (1), Egbeda (1), Ibadan South East (1), Ogbomosho South (1) and Ogbomosho North (1) Local Government Areas.
While noting the confirmed cases in Oyo State stands at 2,713,He charged the people to continue to observe all protocol laid down by NCDC to curb the spread of the virus.
