Federal High Court in Abuja has revoked the bail of former Chairman of the defunct Pension Reformed Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, and ordered him arrested.
The presiding judge, Justice Okon Abang kuwho held that Maina who is prosecuted for an alleged N2bn money laundering charges had jumped bail.
He revoked the bail granted the defendant and ordered all security agencies in the country to arrest him wherever and whenever they found him and ensure he was brought to court.

The judge also ordered that the defendant’s trial would proceed in his absence pending when the defendant would be produced in court.
The judge’s orders followed the applications made by the counsel to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mohammed Abubakar.
He also ordered that Senator Ali Ndume who stands surety for Maina must appear in court on November 23 to explain why he should not be remanded in prison and forfeit his N500m bail bond.
