A High Court in Minna has granted bail to former Niger State Governor,Babangida Aliyu.According to report,his Chief of Staff Umar Nasko was also granted bail.
The two men are being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged corrupt practices while in government.They were remanded in prison custody on April 25 .
Nasko was also the Niger State Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in 2015.
