An Ekiti-born chef, Miss Damilola Adeparusi, has hit 93 hours in her determination to set a new record of 120 hours cooking marathon and emerge a holder of Guinness World Records.
The house where Adeparusi is currently undergoing the cooking marathon in Ilupeju-Ekiti is being powered by a generator set since she started on Friday.
Meanwhile, Dammy has caught the attention of a Nigerian doctor, Dr. Ayo Arojo, who gifted the young chef N500,000 and a two weeks cook tour in the US.
Doctor, Arojo made the announcement via his facebook page and seized the opportunity to drum support for the young undergraduate.
His post reads ””Chef Dammy will be invited for a two-week cook tour in the United States. I can’t wait for her to start the process!
“Let us continue to support her.”
Dammy has already achieved close to 100 hours and by Tuesday would have have surpassed Hilda Baci’s unofficial time of 100 hours.
An Indian Chef Lata Tondon 87 hours have already been surpassed by Dami and she is expected to achieve her 120 hours aspiration by Wednesday at the latest.
