A Community Group known as Ayede Ogbese Women Vanguard Community Outreach on Friday, April 15, 2022, reached out to widows, elderly women and less-priviledged females in the Ayede-Ogbese Town, as it made cash presentations, food palliatives, household items and other relief materials to the beneficiaries at the Royal Ranch, Ayede Ogbese.

The presentation was done in commemoration of the Easter Season with the essence of extending love to fellow humans by way of gestures which would bring joy to the needy, most especially the widows, aged and hapless womenfolk.

The Group; a brainchild of the queen of the Alayede of Ogbese; Olori Olufunmilayo Nejo-Oluyede; was founded immediately the Alayede of Ogbese; HRM Oba Raphael Ajibola Olaleye Oluyede, Ise Oluwa II; ascended the throne on December 18, 2021. The aims and objectives of the Women Vanguard Community Outreach Group is basically to emancipate women in the Ogbese Community by empowering them and giving them the pedestal to optimally fulfill their potentials. The Group has; over the past few months of it’s inauguration; successfully implemented the reduction of taxes amongst the Ogbese market women, and also ensuring bi-monthly sanitation exercises in the popular Ogbese market. The Group also; as part of it’s mandates; reaches out to widows, elders, helpless and the less priviledged women of the Ayede-Ogbese community.

Lauding the initiative of Olori Olufunmilayo Nejo-Oluyede, the Coordinator of the Ayede Ogbese Women Vanguard; Mrs. Bolanle Gabriel; expressed satisfaction at the level of progress and meaningful development that the Group have been able to impact on the lives of the womenfolk of the community. She therefore enjoined everyone to join hands with the king and his queen in moving the community forward.

In their separate goodwill messages, the representative of Prophetess Olayemi Adesida of the Possibility Prayer Mountain For All Nations; Evangelist Abiola Joshua, the Lisa of Ayede Ogbese; High Chief Femi Fajembimo, and the Odopetu of Ayede Ogbese Kingdom; High Chief Oladimeji Abitogun; appreciated the efforts of Olori Olufunmilayo Oluyede and the Women Vanguard in alleviating economic burdens in the lives of the women, widows, and downtrodden in Ayede Ogbese.

The highpoint of the event was the presentation of cash gifts, food palliatives, household items and other relief materials to the over fifty women beneficiaries.

While thanking the Olori and the Women Vanguard Group, some of the beneficiaries who spoke with PRESENT NIGERIA NEWSPAPER prayed earnestly for a peaceful reign for the royal family and for a continuous success of all endeavours of the Group.

The Community Outreach by the Ayede Ogbese Women Vanguard also saw hundreds of indigenes and residents of Ayede Ogbese benefitting from the free Health Checks and Wellness Assessment which was on standby at the event to check, care and cater for the medical and health needs of the people of the community.

Present at the event were traditional, political, religious and community leaders including the Yeyeoba of Ayede Ogbese; Mama Elizabeth Oluyede-Bello; Reverend Greg Okoro from the Christian Association of Nigeria, the APC Party Chairman in Ayede Ogbese; Mr. Jenyo Aguda; an illustrious daughter of the land and an aspirant to the Ondo State House of Assembly; Princess Aderonke Oluyede; amongst other notable personalities.
