Lagos State Commissioner for health, Akin Abayomi says there more death have been recorded in the cholera outbreak in the state bringing the total number of fatalities to 24.
Abayomi who disclosed this on his X handle on Friday added that the suspected cases now stand at 417 as against 401 reported on Thursday while there are 35 confirmed cases.
Abayomi urged residents to “adhere strictly to personal and environmental hygiene.”
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, Dr Kemi Ogunyemi, on Thursday, explained that Lagos Island, Kosofe, and Eti Osa recorded the highest number of the cases.
