President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday approved the appointment of Amos Isaac Azi, as the new Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of the Investments and Securities Tribunal, IST.
His approval was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the IST.
Until his appointment,Azi was a staff of the Securities & Exchange Commission,SEC ,the appointment took effect from July 17, 2020, for an initial period of five years.
The same statement also announced the reappointment of Nosa Osemwengie as Full Time Member of the Investments and Securities Tribunal.
His appointment, the IST said, was in accordance with the provisions of Section 277 (2) of the Investments & Securities Act (ISA), 2007.
