Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, has asked President-elect Bola Tinubu to include Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers, in his administration as he(Wike)has a lot to offer.

Governor Umahi said this when he spoke at an event hosted by Wike in Obio-Akpor LGA of Riverson Monday, March 27.

Umahi said there is no way the story of the 2023 general election can be told without mentioning Wike.

“I thank God Almighty who had enacted that Asiwaju(Tinubu) and (Kashim) Shettima will win.

“Look at the process of God, Tinubu was courageous and Shettima.

” God, directly and indirectly, made Governor Wike very much available, and there is no way you can conclude about the success of the election without mentioning Governor Wike.

“We will be asking Asiwaju and Shettima to please bring Governor Wike to the core administration of the federal government. He has a lot to offer.

“He has a lot to offer for the unity of the country.

” It is not all about party now, it is about the unity of the country, it is how to move this country forward and reunite our people.”Governor Umahi said.

The governor said any politician who hopes to win in Rivers state without Wike is joking. Tinubu polled 231,591 votes in Rivers state to defeat PDP’s Atiku Abubakar who secured 88, 468 while Labour Party’s Peter Obi polled 175,071 votes.
