Following the directive of Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom and in compliance with the State Anti-Kidnapping and Hostage Taking Law, the house used by kidnappers of Benue State Lands, Survey and Solid Mineral’s wife, Mrs. Ann Unenge has been demolished.
No property was in the house at the time of the demolition.
The demolition was supervised by the Security Adviser to the Benue State Governor Colonel Paul Hemba (retd) and operatives of Operation Zenda led by CSP Justine Gberndyer.
The demolition, according to the Adviser will also serve as warning to property owners that they will do diligence on prospective tenants before renting out their property.

Mrs. Ann was rescued on Monday, with three of her kidnappers neutralised by the operatives of Operation Zenda.
Colonel Hemba (retd) confirmed that five others earlier arrested at Welfare Quarters Makurdi are part of the syndicate.
Yesterday, Governor Samuel Ortom directed that the house be demolished. He went to receive the Commissioner’s wife at the Benue State headquarters of Nigeria Police, Makurdi, the state capital.
