Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has dismissed reports claiming he lost $4 million in a Lagos property scam, describing the story as false.

The artiste reacted on Friday through a series of posts on his Instagram Story, days after a viral report alleged that he broke down in tears during an Instagram Live session over the supposed fraud.

In another post, he mocked the claims, saying: “4m$ keh?? This country no go sleep!!”

The viral report had claimed Bella Shmurda got emotional on live video while seeking help after allegedly losing the money.

The story which went viral, sparked concern among fans, with many trooping to social media to check on the singer’s welfare.
