Bandits have killed a traditional title holder, Malam Sani Dandada, the Madawakin Fawa of Faskari, in Katsina State despite ransom payment.
Dandada was kidnapped on April 19, 2025 on his way back from Daura.
Security analyst, Bakatsine, confirmed the sad development on Friday, May 16.
“Despite the full ransom being paid, his abductors never released him. Yesterday, his family was devastated to learn that he had been k!lled,” he said.
