It was gathered that bandits had on Thursday night attacked Sanger settlement in Kwangoro village and abducted one person for ransom.

The bandits in another different operation, attacked Yadagungume town on Saturday night and abducted a nursing mother, Adama Abdussalam, 20, the wife of a businessman, Alh Abdussalam Jibrin Yaudo, who narrowly escaped from the attack.

A security source said the gunmen invaded Yaudo’s house at about 1:00am.

The Caretaker Chairman of Ningi local government area, Hon Ibrahim Zubairu, who confirmed the incidents, said that on receiving the report, he immediately mobilized the security personnel to the affected communities.

He said that the local government authorities are doing its best unrelentingly putting efforts towards arresting the insecurity issues bedeviling the peace and tranquility of the area.

The Council boss said that they are recording a great success in the fight against insecurity whereby before the recent attacks, communities within the LGA live in harmony for 16 days without any report of kidnapping activities.

He however pointed out that this was informed by the concerted efforts meted-out by the state Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, to ensure that the lives and property of the common man are fully protected.

Ibrahim Zubairu assured that his Council will not rest on its oars in safeguarding lives and properties of the citizens by collaborating with all security agencies.

In a similar development, gunmen suspected to be bandits kidnapped two persons, Alhaji Babangida, aka Dan Rimin Wunti, and Alhaji Saleh Jange (PICTURED) by bandits in Gumau town, Toro Local Government Area of the state on Saturday night, August 19.

The Member representing Toro Federal Constituency, Dabo Ismail Haruna, who confirmed the abduction in a statement on Sunday, sympathized with the victims and pray for their safe return.

“I received with deep shock the kidnapping of Alhaji Babangida ( Dan Rimin Wunti) and Alhaji Saleh Jange by bandits in Gumau yesterday night,” he said.

“This is coming after similar incidents at Bargan Fulani where a woman was slaughtered and another man killed at Fishere. Communities such as Salarma among others are not left out with this sad events of recurring kidnappings
