Suspected bandits have reportedly abducted a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) newly posted to Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State on Monday, June 27.
The DPO was said to be on his way to Birnin Gwari to report to his duty post when he was abducted at about 9am.
It is not clear if the officer was traveling alone in the vehicle when he was picked up.
The state police command is yet to react to this development.
