Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed and his Rivers State counterpart, Siminalayi Fubara has been elected Chairman, Vice-chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Governors’ Forum.
Mohammed’s emergence was announced by Adamawa State governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
The development was announced after the just concluded retreat of PDP’s elected officials held in Bauchi on Saturday.
In a brief acceptance speech, Gov. Bala Mohammed said he will work in synergy with Gov. Siminalayi Fubara to give leadership to the forum with the support of their colleagues.
The meeting had in attendance ten PDP governors while three were represented by their deputies.
