Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the purchase of fifty truck load of millet, for free distribution to the twenty one local Government Councils in the State.
The State Commissioner for local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Hassan Shalla announced this in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.
According to the Commissioner, the laudable gesture of the Governor was in line with his usual tradition and magnanimity in assisting all categories of people at the period of Ramadan, to observe their fasting with ease.
He thanked the Governor for reaching out to people and his unwaivering support to the Ministry, at all times.
