Kebbi State Governor,Abubakar Bagudu, has appointed Safyanu Garba Bena, as acting Head of Civil Service ( HOS).
The appointment of the acting HOS followed the retirement of the immediate past Acting Head of Service, Hajiya Fatima Sani Ango , since last week.
The Secretary to the State Government, Babale Umar made the announcement at a news briefing in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday .
He said Nigeria’s Constitution,1999, as Amended, has empowered the Governor to make such appointments from among Permanent Secretaries.

Until his appointment , Bena was the Permanent Secretary, Special Services, Cabinet Office.
