Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has sacked all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) in his administration with immediate effect.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan in a statement on Monday described the move as part of efforts to improve efficiency and service delivery in the state
The government expressed appreciation to the affected aides for their contributions and wished them well in their future endeavours.
According to the statement, Aiyedatiwa is set to appoint about 1,000 new aides drawn from the 203 wards across the 18 local government areas of the state in a step to strengthen coordination and inject fresh capacity into his administration.
