……I Have Evidence and I Will Present It In Court
The 2027 Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar, says he has evidence that will prove that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu is 90 years old.
Atiku made the claim in an interview with the BBC published on Friday. He said he could present the evidence in court if necessary.
The former Vice President defended his decision to contest again, citing his constitutional right to run and describing himself as healthy, experienced and patriotic.
“You have a President who is 90 years old now and sick and I am healthy and strong. So why won’t I make myself available to serve my country?
“You went and voted for someone who is 90 years old. I have evidence that President Tinubu is 90 years old and I will present it in court,” Atiku said.
He also blamed the current insecurity in the country on government irresponsibility, particularly in defence and policing. Atiku promised to address the security challenges within one year if elected.
The ADC candidate said his persistence in running for president is driven by his readiness to serve Nigeria and his belief in his competence to lead.
