The Executive Chairman of Idanre Local Government Area,Prince Kayode Aroloye; has again, reiterated his campaign promise to the people of the Local Government on exposing the Council Area to development.
Aroloye had during his campaign promised to give Idanre Local Government a facelift by opening up motorable road networks and other developmental projects.
Since assumption of office , the Chairman had commenced on inspection of some roads which are of economic importance to the Local Government Area where he was particular about the construction and opening up of some of these roads like the CAC Grammar School road.
The Chairman has hence, taken the bold step towards making this promise of constructing the CAC Grammar School road a reality with the kicking off of the first phase of the road project.
The commencement of repairs and reconstruction of this road and other roads within the local government area, will convincingly reduce the slow developmental pace in the Council Area and the incessant rate of accidents on the roads.

The Chairman; while supervising the ongoing work; emphasised on the need to open up the route for the benefit of the people in that particular area and the two towns that are linked together by the road.
“This is one of the major roads that should not be neglected due to it’s level of importance. This road will no doubt, add to the economic development of Idanre Local Government, encourage more students to be registered in CAC Grammer School situated along the road and also relieve our people whose farmlands and houses are located along this route.”

“We promised our people, that we will; to a reasonable extent and through the grace of God; enhance development and this will; by extension; place our Local Government in an enviable position amongst other Local Government Areas in Ondo State. We have been to the nooks and crannies of Idanre Local Government and we know what is to be done in different areas. With the grace and opportunity given to us by God, we have started and we will remain focused on delivering on our promises to our people.” The Chairman said.
On their part, some of the users of the road and those residing in the area appreciated the Chairman for taking this great step towards alleviating their road-related difficulties.
