Arik Air has announced the resumption of daily flight operations from Lagos and Abuja to Owerri, Imo state capital.
The flight resumption is scheduled to commence on November 28, 2022.
The airline, in a statement on Tuesday said the flight service would also resume four weekly flights from Abuja to Kano on the same date.
The company said outbound flights from Lagos to Owerri will operate from the Murtala Muhammed Airport domestic terminal 1 (otherwise known as GAT), while the outbound flights from Abuja will operate from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport terminal B.
It explained that the resumption of flights to Owerri and Kano was aimed at enabling its customers to celebrate the festive season with families and friends as well as have a safe and peaceful yuletide.
Roy Ilegbodu, chief executive officer of Arik Air, said:
