Protesters under the aegis of APC loyalists forum from Zamfara State on Friday stormed the entrance to the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC in Abuja.
According to Channels TV, the protesters, want the EFCC to investigate all petitions against former governor, Bello Matawalle
This includes the alleged contract diversion up to the tune of N70 billion during his tenure as governor of the state.
The EFCC Director of Public Affairs, Wilson Uwujaren, was said to have received the protest letter on behalf of the chairman.
He assured the protesters that the EFCC is determined to pursue every corruption case to a logical conclusion
