The All Progressives Congress, APC, has reacted to the Peoples Democratic Party’s recent statement criticizing alleged ‘delayed’ payment of December salaries to Federal Government workers.
The PDP, through its National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, had recently slammed the Tinubu-led administration for allegedly withholding workers’ December salaries
But reacting in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, APC claimed that Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated far greater sensitivity and commitment to workers’ welfare in his few months in office than all of PDP’s 16 years in government.
“The rather flimsy statement over attempt to portray the administration as undermining the economic wellbeing of Nigerians failed woefully as the government had since paid every worker his due”, Morka said.
According to him, the present administration has continued to promote qualitative dialogue and engagement with organized labour in prevention and resolution of disputes in addition to several other incentives and palliatives.
