Angry Youths in Isa Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Tuesday burned down the residence of the State Commissioner for Careers and Security Matters, Colonel Garba Moyi (Rtd) over alleged complicity with criminals terrorizing the area.
The mob also vandalised vehicles belonging to the District Head of the area, Sarkin Gobir of Isa Alhaji Nasiru Ahamad for allegedly defending activities of criminal gangs in the area.
Confirming the attack,Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Sokoto command, ASP Sanusi Abubakar said investigation has commenced into the matter adding that no life no lost in the attacks.
He however appealed to people in the area to remain calm and cooperate with security agents.
