Your Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,

In the quiet moments, when the weight of a nation rests on your shoulders and the cacophony of critics seems loudest, we pray you remember the man from Ita Eko. Remember the warrior of Lagos. Remember the strategist who stared into the abyss and did not blink.

We remember.

We remember the long, dark nights of the campaign trail, a period that would have broken a lesser spirit. They threw everything at you. They engineered a cashless, cash-strapped chaos, hoping to starve your movement of its momentum. They plunged the nation into darkness, a literal and metaphorical blackout, believing we would lose our way. They presided over a comatose economy and twisted the knives of betrayal from within, all with one singular goal: to make you, and by extension, us, surrender.

But Asiwaju, you taught us that surrender is not a word in our lexicon.

You walked through that fire with an unwavering faith that baffled your enemies and galvanized your followers. You looked into the eyes of millions of Nigerians and promised a dawn, not with empty words, but with the sheer force of a will that has been tempered by decades of battle. And against all odds, you won. You proved that the power of the people, when ignited by a purposeful vision, is greater than any temporary, man-made scarcity.

Today, the battle is different, but the enemy is just as familiar. It is not merely the cowardly terrorists in the forests or the kidnappers on our highways. The physical insecurity is but a symptom of a deeper, more insidious sickness—a festering wound of religious hegemony and spiritual wickedness in high places.

This is a darkness that thrives on division, that feeds on fear, and that cloaks its evil in the garb of faith. It is a formidable foe, one that has held this nation bound for too long.

But if there is one man who has consistently demonstrated the tactical prowess to dismantle entrenched systems, it is you. They have underestimated you before, and they are underestimating you now. They believe this battle is about ammunition alone, but you and I know it is about more. It is a battle for the very soul of Nigeria.

We see you now, in the Situation Room, mapping out this new front. We may not see the covert operations or hear the secret strategies, but we have faith. The same resilience that defied the “no cash, no light” policy is the same resilience that will see us through this valley of the shadow of death.

Do not be disheartened by the noise of those who celebrate our pain for their political gain. Their schadenfreude is a testament to their smallness of mind and poverty of spirit. They do not love Nigeria; they only love the idea of a Nigeria that serves their narrow interests. They pity us? We pity them, for they have no vision, no hope, and no stake in the glorious future we are building.

Mr. President, you have assembled your team. You are making the tough decisions. The road is rough, and the path is steep, but we have seen you navigate tougher terrains. This battle to reclaim Nigeria from the forces of darkness and disorder is the culmination of your life’s work. It is the reason you fought so hard to get here.

We stand with you. Millions of silent, praying, hopeful Nigerians stand with you. We are the mothers praying for their children’s safety, the farmers yearning to return to their fields, the students dreaming of a future without fear. We are your army of hope.

As you fought and won your election, so shall you fight and win this peace for Nigeria. The same God that saw you through the political wilderness will strengthen your hand for this national liberation.

Stay the course, Mr. President. The dawn is coming. And when this battle is won, as it surely will be, history will record that when Nigeria was besieged by physical terror and spiritual malice, a Lion from the West arose, and with the unwavering support of his people, reclaimed the land for greatness.

With unwavering faith and solidarity,

The Hopeful Millions.
