Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has cleared the air on his purported defection from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC.

Speaking with journalists on Wednesday, Fubara said he is still a member of the APC, stressing that nothing has changed.

He called on the members of the public to disregard any rumour in the social media suggesting that he has left the APC.

“I’m a member of the APC, and nothing has changed. Whatever happens, what is important is supporting the overall interest of the party,” he said.
