Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has reaffirmed his support for President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima ahead of 2027 general elections.
Alia made declaration on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at All Progressives Congress, APC, North-Central mega rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Governor commended Tinubu for his support to state governments, saying assistance had enabled his administration to accelerate development and deliver projects for people of Benue State.
Rally attracted First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda, Secretary to Government of Federation George Akume, governors, ministers, lawmakers, party officials and thousands of supporters from across North-Central region.
Alia said APC governors and key stakeholders were committed to mobilising support for Tinubu, Shettima and other party candidates in 2027.
Rally was part of party’s efforts to strengthen its support base across region ahead of next general elections.
