The First Lady Of Nigeria,Aisha Buhari has presented relief materials to victims of the recent flooding in 8 camps in Koko Besse Local Government area of Kebbi State.

A statement by the media aide government house,Sabatu Andrew said the donation was presented through her Foundation “the Future Assured Initiative” .

During the occasion, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Hajiya Maimuna Sulaiman conveyed a message of hope from Dr Aisha Muhammadu Buhari to all the people affected by the disaster and prayed Allah to prevent future occurrence.

It could be recalled that the First Lady’s interventions began on the 19th of September, 2020 in Bagudo, Kalgo, and Birnin Kebbi Local Governmnt Areas.

Chairman of Koko Besse Local Government, Alhaji Yahaya Bello Koko while speaking at the presentation ceremony thanked the wife of the President Mrs Aisha Buhari for the gesture.

He explained that Samanaji village is mostly affected in the area. Alhaji Yahaya said the Local Government has provided clean drinking water and other items in the 10 IDP camps provided Local Government tothe affected people.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke expressed their profound gratitude to the mother of the Nation for coming to their aid at this trying time and offered special prayers for her, President Buhari, Kebbi state Government and the nation.
