Osifo-Whiskey said the partnership enables passengers to enjoy single-ticket travel, coordinated schedules and simplified baggage handling across both airlines.

He added the agreement applied to selected routes and eligible itineraries, ensuring smoother and more convenient journeys across multiple destinations.

“Through this agreement, Turkish Airlines passengers arriving in Lagos can connect seamlessly to Air Peace’s domestic and regional network,” he said.

He added that Air Peace passengers would access Turkish Airlines’ global routes via Istanbul, linking Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.

Osifo-Whiskey said the deal strengthened travel between Nigeria and Türkiye, unlocking commercial and tourism opportunities across West and Central Africa.

Dr Özlem Özyön, Turkish Airlines’ Senior Vice-President for International Relations and Alliances, said: “This interline agreement reinforces our commitment to expanding connectivity across Africa.

“By combining our global reach with Air Peace’s regional strength, we offer more travel options, improved convenience and greater accessibility,” she said.

Air Peace Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Nowel Ngala, said: “This partnership marks a milestone in positioning Nigeria at the centre of global connectivity.

“Integrating our network with Turkish Airlines’ reach offers seamless connections, reduced travel complexity and strengthens Nigeria as a key aviation gateway,” he said.

Ngala noted Turkish Airlines operates modern wide-body aircraft on Lagos routes, offering premium onboard services, award-winning catering and advanced entertainment systems.

He added Air Peace, with over 50 aircraft including B777s, B737s and Embraer jets, continued to expand its network and role in Africa’s aviation sector.
