Barely 24hrs after the sister of Katsina State Deputy Speaker was allegedly kidnapped, gunmen have again attacked another Katsina community kidnapping four children of the village head.
According to residents, the gunmen stormed Sabuwar Kasa village in Kafur Local Government Area of Katsina State in the early hours of Monday and took away Alhaji Hamza Umar’s children.
Umar, the village head of Sabuwar Kasa, is also the head of Local Government Administration in Funtua Local Government Council of the North-West state.
The police are yet to confirm the incident.
Monday’s incident is coming less than 24 hours after gunmen kidnapped the younger sister of the Deputy Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki.
Before that, assailants had stormed Kurami village in Bakori Local Government Area of the state on Saturday and abducted the wife and two children of the member representing Bakori constituency in the state House of Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Kurami.
