Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has paid a condolence visit to former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun following the death of her husband, Anthony Adeosun.
Abiodun disclosed the visit on his official X account on Sunday, describing the late Anthony Adeosun as a respected businessman and devoted Christian who lived a life of faith, service and commitment to his family.
The governor prayed for God to comfort and strengthen the family during the difficult period and asked for the eternal repose of the deceased.
“During the visit, we conveyed our heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Adeosun, her children and the entire Adeosun family over this painful and profound loss.
The late Mr. Adeosun was a respected businessman and devoted Christian who lived a life of faith, service and commitment to his family. His passing is undoubtedly a great loss, not only to his immediate family but also to all those whose lives he touched.
We pray that Almighty God will comfort Mrs. Adeosun and the entire family, strengthen them through this difficult period and grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
May God grant Mr. Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun eternal rest and may his soul rest in perfect peace.”
Anthony Adeosun died on August 5, 2026, at the age of 62.
