Abia State University has banned students from driving personal cars on campus.
This was contained in a notice signed by the registrar of the institution, Acho Elendu on Tuesday, Feb 1,2021.
According to the notice only, staff and accredited visitors will be allowed to drive their cars into the campus.
The notice states;
“Management of Abia state University has banned the use of personal vehicles by students and flagrant display of wealth on campus.
“Henceforth, only only staff and accredited visitors would be allowed to drive their vehicles into the campus.
“Any student who violates this directive, which is in the interest of the university community, shall face severe disciplinary action,” ABSU added in the notice signed by the school’s registrar.”
