The Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has nominated 19 individuals for appointment as commissioners in the state.
The list has been submitted to the Abia State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
Among those nominated by Governor Otti is Mr Chaka Chukwumerije, one of the sons of the late Senator Uche Chukwumerije.
Others are Prof Monica Ironkwe, Kingsley Anoribe, Prof Uche Eme, Philomena Asonye Ogbonna, Mike Akpara, Ngozi Okoronkwo, and Okey Kanu.
Also on the list are Ikechuckwu Uwaoma, Uzo Nwachukwu, Prof Joel Friday Ogbonna, Chima Emmanuel Oriaku, Nwaobilor Nwadimma Ananaba, and Dr Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu.
Others are Ngozi Blessing Felix, Don Otutmchere Oti, Sunny Okebugwu Owunna, Ikechuckwu Monday, and Mathew Chikodi Ekwuribe
