The Parish Priest Of St George Catholic Church, Omu Ekiti, Rev Father Micheal Olofinlade, who was abducted on Saturday has regained his freedom.
Father Olofinlade was kidnapped while returning to his base in Omu Ekiti, after a pastoral assignment in the state capital, Ado Ekiti.
The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti, Most Rev Felix Ajakaiye had solicited prayers for the quick and safe release of Fr Olofinlade.
The details of his release were still sketchy at the time of this report.
