Nigeria’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has tested negative to Coronavirus after three weeks in isolation.

Onyeama announced the news via his official twitter handle, @GeoffreyOnyeama on Wednesday.

The Minister thanked his entire medical team,family and everyone for their support and prayers.

 According to the tweet,” By the very special grace of God my latest #COVID19 test result came back NEGATIVE after three weeks isolation.

I am eternally grateful to my family, the C-in-C and VP, the medical team, relations, friends, colleagues, religious leaders and..

Recalled,Onyeama announced his Positive status 3weeks ago via his Twitter account when he said” he took his fourth COVID-19 test on Saturday, after feeling some signs of throat irritation”.

He  however announced that he was heading for isolation in a health facility, where he will receive treatment.
