A 500-level student of Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture Umudike, MOUAU, Abia State, Modestus Hyacinth Egbulefu, has committed suicide.
The deceased, a student of the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering reportedly jumped from a 3 storey building identified as Groom Base Lodge.
He allegedly jumped after taking some substances suspected to be ”Mkpuru mmiri, ”hard drug in Ikwuano council area ,Abia State.
He reportedly died on the spot before he could receive medical attention.
His corpse has been deposited at an undisclosed mortuary in the area.
