Operatives of the Kaduna State police command have arrested four people while vandalising the transmission towers of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) in some parts of the State.
The arrest of the suspected vandals was announced in a statement by Mrs Ndidi Mbah, TCN’s General Manager, Public Affairs issued in Abuja on Friday.
According to the statement, the suspected vandals were caught while destroying transmission towers while instruments like shovels and diggers were recovered from them.
The TCN spokesperson appreciated efforts of the police and assured its continued collaboration with security operatives in safeguarding transmission infrastructure nationwide.
”The suspects will be prosecuted soon, ”she said.
