This was during a ceremony in Mubi, the socio-economic headquarters of Adamawa’s northern zone.

Fintiri, who hails from Madagali Local Government Area, will have Madagali, Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha and Michika LGAs as his constituency if he succeeds in securing a seat in the Senate after completing his eight years as governor in 2027.

Addressing stakeholders from the zone who gathered in Mubi for the handing over of the form to him, Fintiri expressed readiness to seek the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 senatorial election.

Addressing security concerns in the Northern Zone, which is the most affected by Boko Haram attacks, Fintiri said efforts towards rebuilding and recovery would be sustained, promising continued collaboration to ensure lasting peace.

In his remarks, the member representing Song/Fufore Constituency in the House of Representatives, Wakili Boya, said the governor has demonstrated effective leadership and possesses the experience for national representation.
