The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu on Monday met with governors who are members of the ruling party.
The meeting which was held in Abuja had 17 Governors in attendance.
Speaking at the end of the meeting, Tinubu said he unfurled his agenda to the governors and stated his mission if elected as president.
“The meeting went well,” he said.

Asked about VP Yemi Osinbajo’s declaration for the presidential race, Tinubu said:
“I don’t have any son grown up enough to make such declaration,” Tinubu replied when asked about Osinbajo’s declaration.
“My mission here is to seek collaboration, support, and encouragement of my party, the APC, for my ambition to become the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a replacement for President Muhammadu Buhari after his tenure,” he said.

The meeting came a few hours after the declaration of interest in the 2023 presidency by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who also met with the APC governors on Sunday.
