The immediate past General Officer Commanding (GOC) the 3rd Amoured Bridgade, Jos, Major General Nuhu Ekpaji Angbazo (Rtd.) has formally joined the race for the governorship race in Nasarawa State.

Angbazo declared his interest under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday.

He was presented with the expression of interest and nomination forms of the Party purchased for him by employees, associates and ex-beneficiaries of his gesture while in office.

About one hundred volunteers spread around the thirteen Local Government and Development Areas of the state had mobilized their personal resources to procured the nomination form for the retired officer.

General Angbazo, a member of the 36 regular course of the Nigeria Defence Accademy (NDA), holds a master’s degree in International Security and military strategy.

He was the Nigeria military attachee to Mali and other countries before emerging as the GOC of the 3rd Armoured Bridgade suppervising five other military formations in the states of Gombe, Adamawa, Bauchi, Nasarawa and Benue.
