The Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Scholarship Board, Hon. Danlami Ofoku Ikpobose has resigned from his office to contest in the 2023 general elections.
Ikpobose disclosed this in a letter dated April 08, 2022 and addressed to the governor of the state.
The decision to resign according to him was to enable him answer the clarion call of his people to contest for the seat of Obi I Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA).
The state government had in a notice dated Wednesday April 06, 2022 directed political and public office holders desirous of participating in the forthcoming elections to resign on or before Friday April 08th, 2022 in line with the provision of section 84(12) of the Electoral Act, 2022.
