The Action Democratic Party said it is set to signed a Memorandum of Understanding with 16 other Political parties in the country for a merger towards 2023 elections in Nigeria.
This was disclosed by the leader in Abia State and National Treasurer, Okey Udoh while speaking with journalists in Umuahia.
According to Udoh, ADP which was one of the strong parties in the country since 2019 has been in consultation to form MoU called Third Force with about 16 other parties.
“The party is going for a merger that will produce the best candidates”, Udoh said, adding that “but whenever that occurs, the ADP will not lose its identity.”
The ADP National Treasurer regretted that in Abia, the state budget is worst managed, stating “Only in the state will leaders go to the Senate to know how our money will be managed.”
Earlier in his speech, the state chairman of the party, Benjamin Arisa informed faithful in the state that they were in for serious business.
