Ogun State Governor,Dapo Abiodun has assured that his government will continue to formulate policies and programmes that cater for youths in the state ,engaging them in meaningful ventures and renewing their hope in a secure future.
Addressing this year’s international youth day,the Governor said it’s an opportunity to appreciate the role and importance of youths in nation building and development.
He said,”It is in line with the key roles that youths play in development that the Ogun State Government under my watch has made the empowerment and emancipation of youths the cornerstone of our Administration, through the provision of startup and sustainable support in multiple sectors.
More importantly, the current COVID-19 prevention and treatment strategies that we have put in place are aimed at protecting the lives of the leaders of tomorrow and future generations.
“And our commitment to the youths explains why we are focusing on key areas, including job creation for the youths and ensuring that they occupy important positions in our Administration.
We believe that giving them opportunities will help maximise their contributions to the development of our dear State.

Youth empowerment remains a priority of our Government’s Agenda.
This is evident in our investment in education, agriculture, sports, ICT, health, and job creation, and we will necessarily continue to formulate policies and programmes that cater for our youths, engaging them in meaningful ventures and renewing their hope in a secure future.” He said.
