Few days earlier, this young Nigerian rapper and singer, Olanrewaju Pelepele shared an emotional video on social, where he described how depressed he was and his plans to take his own life.
Then, nobody took him serious.
And true to his word, he proved that he did not just make an empty threat by taking his own life.
He was found dead in his apartment on Friday.
His death was said to have stemmed from his long battle with depression and his inability to fully break into the Nigerian music industry despite 10years of hard work.
