Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has sacked the State Commissioner for Environment, Dr Igbiks Tamuno.
This was contained in a statement by his Special Assistant ,Media Kelvin Ebiri on Tuesday.
The reason for the sack was not given in the statement.
According to the statement, the Governor directed the sacked Commissioner to submit all government documents and Property in his possession to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment.
