Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda says efforts are in top gear to curb criminal activities revealing that his government has identified some traditional rulers aiding banditry.
While speaking during a media chat in Abuja the Governor insisted that he would not negotiate with bandits or criminals.
“As I speak to you, there are some traditional rulers that have been identified, and those ones are already under scrutiny.
“We are not sparing anyone. I’m telling you that even my commissioners or anybody found to be involved in any criminal activity won’t be spared,” Radda said.
The governor, who decried the incessant attacks on residents of the state, said his administration is trying to curb the menace.
“We are trying as much as possible to see how we can gather a lot of information, together with the intelligence we are getting from the DSS, so we can arrest and prosecute those found wanting,” he said.
