Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo has commissioned the Dick Tiger road and Dick Tiger street located along uratta mcc axis today in Owerri the Imo State capital as part of his working visit to the state.

The Vice President while commissioning the road described Gov. Hope Uzodimma as a pragmatic leader whose actions shows that he has come to work for his people and appreciated him for engaging in people oriented projects that are both of socio-economic importance to imolites.

Osibanjo said “Gov. Uzodimma has continued to prove and make true of his shared prosperity mantra as he has continued to defile both economic and seasonal odds to ensure he gives the best to Imolites and this he has done through his determination in changing the cause of this road from what it used to be and what it is looking like today.”

Vice President Osibanjo used the opportunity to eulogize the Governor and his achievements so far in office and described it as uncommon while calling on all well meaning Imolites to support and join hands with Gov. Hope Uzodimma in his bid to reposition the state for the best and pledge the continuous support of the federal government to the state.

Gov. Hope Uzodimma while addressing the mammoth crowd on ground appreciated the Vice President for making out time to visit the state again in such a short notice and declared that Prof. Osibanjo is always attracted to good governance and Imo State happens to be the reference point for good governance and people oriented leadership.

Gov. Uzodimma maintained his strong resolve of ensuring that the dividends of democracy and the shared prosperity is seen and felt in all the nooks and crannies of the state while pledging that his administration will not renege on the 3R mantra initiative of his government.
