Veteran Yoruba actor Deji Aderemi, popularly known as Olofa Ina is dead.
The 73-year-old actor reportedly died on Thursday in his hometown of Ede.
Actor Saidi Balogun confirmed Olofa Ina’s death on his official Instagram page.
Saidi Balogun shared a photo of the actor on his page and wrote, “Good Night Legend chief Deji Akinremi (Olofa Ina) RIP.”
Olofa Ina was born May 15, 1950.
He was an actor with many years of experience and featured in many movies having started his major acting career in 1980.
He, however, had formed his acting group several years earlier.
The name of his acting group was Olofa Ina Theatre Group, and it was formed in 1972.
