The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday paid a condolence visit on Joe Okei- Odumakin, the widow of the late publicity secretary of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin.
Tinubu who arrived the Omole residence of the deceased consoled the wife while describing the death of her husband as a huge loss.
The former governor of Lagos told Okei-Odumakin to take heart as death is inevitable stating that no amount of grief could bring him back to life.
Tinubu while speaking with reporters later said the late Odumakin contributed so much to constitutional democracy in the country.
He disclosed that himself ,Odumakin and others were together during the struggle for the actualisation of June 12, 1993 presidential election won by the late MKO Abiola adding that Odumakin, Tokunbo Afikuyomi and others meant so much to him.
According to him, even if he and Odumakin later had differences, that was after they had pushed the military out of power.
